National Public Health Week

Outstanding Public Health Leader Award:

 
In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Wicomico County Health Department will recognize an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the public health and safety of the citizens of Wicomico County. This award is presented in celebration of National Public Health Week that is held annually in April. The winner will be announced at our awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at the Flanders Room at the Civic Center.

National Public Health Week is a time for communities around the United States to recognize all of the ways that public health impacts our lives. During this week communities across the nation also work together to improve issues that will better the nation’s health.
