Vital Records
Beginning Monday July 10, 2023, the Wicomico County Health Department Vital Records department will now be taking walk-ins on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Hours of operation are 8:30am-4pm Closed 1pm-1:30pm
REMINDER: Vital Records has moved to the ground floor (2nd floor) of the Seth H. Hurdle Building (108 East Main St, Salisbury, MD 21801).
Certified Birth Certificates can be purchased by the individuals listed on the birth certificate (Child and Parents recorded on birth certificate)
$22 credit, debit or cash (no checks or money orders accepted)
Current Government issued photo ID required
- If you do not have a current Government-issued photo ID, the certificate will be mailed to the address listed on two of the following documents that you present as identification.
- pay stub
- W2
- rental/lease agreement
- bank statement
- utility bill
- car registration
