HEALTH DEPARTMENT VACCINATION WILL MOVE INTO PHASE 1B

MONDAY JANUARY 18, 2021

(January 15, 2021, Salisbury, MD) Since the week of December 21st, the Wicomico County Health Department (WiCHD) has held nine vaccination clinics for those individuals listed in Phase 1A. Throughout these nine clinics, WiCHD administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to 1,351 people.  Of those vaccinations, 600 were administered this week alone. If you are in Phase 1A/1B please email [email protected]  the Health Department will email you a link to make an appointment.  We are asking for family members to please help those over 75 to register for an appointment because it is online.

 In following the State of Maryland’s updated COVID-19 Vaccination Plan, the Wicomico County Health Department will start to schedule vaccinations for only those listed in Phase 1B such as:

  • Individuals 75+
  • K-12 teachers
  • Day Care Providers
  • Assisted Living
  • Group homes
  • Continuity of government

The Health Department is in the process of contacting those in Phase 1A.  Please bring the following to the vaccination center:

  • Proof of age (Drivers License)  
  • Proof of employment (Wicomico Public Schools ID, Day Care Providers company letterhead)
  • Assisted Living/Group Homes will be vaccinated on site
  • Government ID
