HEALTH DEPARTMENT VACCINATION CLINICS

(March 5, 2021, Salisbury, MD) Since the week of December 21st, the Wicomico County Health Department (WiCHD) has held thirty-eight vaccination clinics for those individuals listed in Phase 1A, 1B and 1C (65+ ONLY). Throughout these clinics, WiCHD administered the first doses and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to 10,961 people. Of those vaccinations, 1,932 were administered this week.

Vaccination efforts continue to prioritize the individuals in 1B and individuals 65+ years within Phase 1C ONLY.  Please email [email protected]  and include your age or what phase you fall in and how you qualify for that phase.  The Health Department will email you a link to make an appointment when appointments are available (DO NOT SHARE THE LINK).   The Maryland Dept. of Health (MDH) is planning a Mass Vaccination Clinic in Salisbury for the middle of March, as soon as details are finalized it will be sent out.

 In following the State of Maryland’s updated COVID-19 Vaccination Plan, the Wicomico County Health Department will continue to schedule individuals within Phases 1B and 1C (65+ ONLY) such as:

Phase 1B

Phase 1C

·       Individuals 75+

·       Education staff: K-12 teachers, support staff, and child care providers

·       Higher education teachers

·       Individuals 65+

For those with scheduled appointments, please bring the following to the vaccination center:

  • Proof of age (Drivers License)  
  • Proof of employment (Wicomico Public Schools ID, Day Care Providers company letterhead)
  • Assisted Living/Group Homes will be vaccinated on site
  • Government ID
