COOLING CENTER EXTENDED HOURS IN WICOMICO COUNTY
(June 24, 2025, Salisbury, MD) The cooling center’s original hours have been extended for June 24, 2025, and June 25th, in the Flanders Room (5, 6, and 7) at the Wicomico County Civic Center. Tuesday June 24th from 11:00AM-7:00PM, and Wednesday June 25th 12:00PM-5:00PM. Temperatures with the heat index will be over 105 degrees. The Civic Center is located at 500 Glen Avenue Salisbury, MD 21804. Residents will need to bring their own food, beverages, and medications. Pets are not permitted.
The MAC Inc., Senior Center will be open Monday June 23rd-Wednesday June 25th from 8:00am- 4:30pm as a cooling center for residents ages 55 and over. MAC is located at 909 Progress Circle, Salisbury, MD 21804.
