Addiction Services: Adult and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Treatment

The Adult Outpatient Program is designed for individuals who currently meet the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) placement criteria for Level I care, which can be provided less than 9 hours per week.  The Outpatient Program is designed to be a minimum of 26 weeks.  Individuals are also linked with community resources to help further their progress in other areas of their life.

The Adolescent Outpatient Program provides early intervention and Level I treatment to adolescents ages 12 to 17.  The Level 1 Outpatient groups consist on meeting once per week for one hour for up to 26 weeks.  Services also include family support, education and referrals.  Program referrals for all services are primarily from the schools or from the Department of Juvenile Justice.  Secondary education students may be referred through the Wicomico County Board of Education for an evaluation and treatment if deemed appropriate.
