Adult Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach lay people methods of assisting someone who may be in the early stages of developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
The training is one 8 hour day. You must attend the entire day to receive your certification. There are NO CEUs offered at this time. The trainers are Jessica Taylor and Tina Thomas with the Wicomico Behavioral Health Authority.
The training will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 8928 Sign Post Road, Suite 2, Westover, MD 21871 at the Somerset County Health Department.
Training will begin at 8:00 am, sign-in is from 7:30 am to 8:00 am. We will start promptly at 8:00 am and end at 4:30 pm.
