NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR
2021 OUTSTANDING PUBLIC HEALTH LEADER AWARD
(March 9, 2022, Salisbury, MD) Stop and take a minute to think about 2021, what comes to mind? Looking back on 2021 most of us think of COVID-19 and the barriers that came along with it. Now as a community, we have the chance to say thank you to an extraordinary public health leader. In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Wicomico County Health Department will recognize an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the public health and safety of the citizens of Wicomico County. This award is presented in celebration of National Public Health Week that is held annually in April. The winner will be announced at our awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 at Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

electronically at www.wicomicohealth.org, or call (410)-334-3480 for a paper form.
Nominations are due by Monday, March 21st, 2022. Late submissions cannot be accepted. Help us thank someone truly great for their efforts in fighting COVID-19, protecting the community, and maintaining public health!
