HEALTH DEPARTMENT’S VACCINE & TESTING CLINICS RELOCATING

(March 11, 2021 Salisbury, MD) With the Maryland Department of Health’s mass vaccination center planned to open at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, the Wicomico County Health Department’s vaccination and testing clinics will be relocated. Starting March 15th, the Wicomico County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held in the old Tuesday Morning site (next to Home Goods) of the Centre At Salisbury, located at 2300 North Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, Maryland. The location will be accessible via the parking lot entrance, not by entering the mall.

The appointment only COVID-19 testing will resume March 23rd at the Wicomico County Health Department’s Fritz Building located at 300 West Carroll St, Salisbury, MD. The testing clinic will be drive-thru, and appointments can be made by calling (410) 912-6889.

Vaccination efforts will continue to prioritize individuals in Phases 1A, 1B and those over 65 years of age within Phase 1C. Please email [email protected] and include your age or what phase you fall in and how you qualify for that phase. The Health Department will email you a link to make an appointment when appointments are available (DO NOT SHARE THE LINK). PLEASE UNDERSTAND IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR FIRST DOSE FROM THE HEALTH DEPT, WE CANNOT ADMINISTER YOUR SECOND DOSE. The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) will have separate scheduling for its Mass Vaccination Clinic and will release contact information as soon as it is available.

Information about the vaccine distribution in Maryland and priority phases can be found at covidlink.maryland.gov.  Want to stay updated on local COVID-19 news?
