3rd ANNUAL SHATTER THE STIGMA WALK

SEPTEMBER 28, 2024, AT WOR-WIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE

(September 23, 2024, Salisbury, MD) Wicomico Goes Purple, Wor-Wic Community College, Walk Wicomico and the Wicomico County Health Department are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Shatter the Stigma Walk which will be held on September 28, 2024.  This free family friendly walk will take place at Wor-Wic Community College in the Hazel Center Quad from 9:30am-11:30am. This event will be held rain or shine.

This one mile, ADA friendly walk encourages people to start conversations and shatter the stigma of addiction, one step at a time so that people who need help can reach out for assistance without shame or guilt. Activities and resources will be available the day of the event and include a DJ, dancing, face painting, Cascading Carlos, Journey the Therapy Pony, mascots, games, free snacks and giveaways plus much more.
