COAT Mission
To use personal and life experiences to encourage and guide others through the first steps of recovery.
What is COAT?
COAT is a community effort to help people fighting addiction in Wicomico County. Its goal is to prevent overdoses, help with treatment barriers, and provide a smooth transition to
services.
What is a Peer Support Specialist?
A “Peer” assists people into treatment using skills and knowledge they have learned through their own recovery journey.
