The Mission of the Wicomico County Health Department Behavioral Health Program is to provide comprehensive, integrated mental health and substance abuse services that promote the health and quality of life for the residents of Wicomico County and surrounding communities.  We are committed to providing prompt access to resiliency and recovery based services in a caring and confidential environment. We pledge that our mission will be governed by the individual strengths and needs of our clients and our community.

The Behavioral Health Addictions Program provides services for both male and female adults and adolescents.  The Addictions Program is able to treat individuals that have Medical Assistance and private insurance.  If an individual is uninsured, their fee will be based on a sliding fee scale.

Addiction is a complex problem that affects not only physical and mental health of an individual, but also their families and social environment.  Addiction is a condition that is chronic, progressive, and potentially fatal.
