  • Maryland Children's Health Program
    • Program covers children to the age of 19 and pregnant/ postpartum women of any age if determined eligible
    • Provides free or low cost health insurance, including dental
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
    • Application can be mailed or can apply at Fritz Building
    • No fee for services

  • Children's Medical Services program (CMS)
    • CMS assists families in planning and obtaining specialty medical and rehabilitative care for children who have chronic illnesses or disabling conditions which interfere with normal growth and development
    • Serves parents/ caregivers of children with special needs, under the age of 21 in Wicomico County.
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
    • No fee for services

  • Healthy Families Program
    • Provides prenatal and child case management to Medical Assistance (MA) eligible and low income pregnant women, infants and children under 5 years of age
    • Trained Paraprofessional Home Visiting
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
    • Appointment required
    • No charge for services, but must have Medical Assistance

  • Oral Health Program - Village Dental Clinic
    • Preventative, diagnostic and restorative services for children and pregnant women who qualify for the Maryland Medical Assistance/ Maryland Children's Health Insurance Program (Priority Partners, United Health Care, Maryland Physicians Care and Amerigroup)
    • Located at the Village Dental Clinic at the Village of Hope

  • Lead Poisoning Prevention Program
    • Tracking and case management of Lead Poisoned Children in Wicomico County
    • Provide information and education about Lead Poisoning to landlords, Health Service Providers and the Community
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
    • No fees for service

  • Adolescent Health
    • Provides outreach and educational services to adolescents, parents and community groups on teen pregnancy prevention and other adolescent health issues.
    • Appointment required
    • Hours vary

  • Medicaid Administrative Care Coordination & Ombudsman Program
    • Provides community outreach to get eligible pregnant women and children enrolled in Medicaid
    • Assists clients in accessing health and health-related services and community resources
    • Serves as the ombudsman to resolve complaints
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
    • Appointment is not required
    • No fees for services

  • Pregnancy Testing
    • Provides early detection of pregnancy
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
    • Appointment required
    • No fees for services, but donations are accepted

  • Immigrant Health Initiative
    • Provides assistance in accessing preventative health services to uninsured immigrant pregnant, and post-partum women, uninsured immigrant children under the age of 18 whose family income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.
    • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm
